The Scottish League Cup semi-final has come and gone. A 3-0 victory over Hearts was enjoyed by fans and players alike as it set the stage for the cup final in December.
The players were treated to some unique dressing room art upon their arrival, with a poster of each player being posted on their locker. It was a nice touch by the club, and one player, in particular, appreciated it more than the others.
Rangers Twitter posted a video of the new dressing room artwork before showing captain James Tavernier sneaking his poster out to the team bus. Fans were happy to see the joking side of the 28-year-old.
That’s so funny. Makes me love Tav even more.

Some fans suggested that the poster was going up for display in the Tavernier household, while others suspected it could make a nice gift for a fan. Whether it stays with the captain as a memento or goes to a lucky supporter, it certainly looks nice.
That’s getting stuck on the fridge when he gets home

Get it signed and auction it for charity or run a competition to win it

One fan predicted that next time he would be taking silverware with him instead.
I’m sure it will be a shiny silver trophy next time

What do we think?
It’s nice to see the player having a bit of a laugh after his rough start to the season. Only last week manager Steven Gerrard admitted that the fans needed to lay off the right-back (BBC). Luckily for the player, he appears to be back in high spirits.
