Liverpool fans on Twitter have been criticising former-midfielder Emre Can after he said he is not happy with his lack of game time at new club Juventus.
This flurry of criticism came after Liverpool news Twitter account @LivEchoLFC shared a post on their page that contained an article from their website on Can’s time at the Italian club.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans who were less than apologetic for their former midfielder.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans not happy with Can:
Not our player not our problem. Who cares!

Makes me so happy when players think they’re bigger than @LFC. We are without doubt the best club in the world and your greed got the better of you. Enjoy the bench Emre.

The German international, who is currently valued at £29.7 million (Transfermarkt), left the Merseyside club to join the Italian champions in 2018 on a free transfer after spending four years under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. Since moving to Juventus, Can has made 41 appearances in all competitions, playing 2405 minutes (per Transfermarkt).
With Can unhappy with his lack of starts for the club, he has found no sympathy with Liverpool fans who still slate the 25-year-old for leaving the club in the first place.
Boohoo should have stayed at Liverpool. Was getting a lot more playing time there.

Blah blah blah (again). Most overrated midfielder in the game. Gotta earn the right to play man.

You made your bed. Don’t have any sympathy.

What do we think?
It’s understandable why some Liverpool fans don’t feel sorry for Can’s predicament he has put himself in by joining Juventus. Some Liverpool fans seem to think Can thought he was bigger than the club and that he deserved to play for a big team such as Juventus, but now with him not starting games, his actions have come back to bite him.
If the German is looking to move away from Juventus, a move back to Liverpool would be very unlikely.
