Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to criticise their former forward Bobby Duncan after he made some negative comments about his move away from the club.
This wave of criticism came after Liverpool fan account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their page that included an article from the Mirror that contained the quotes made from Duncan.
These quotes included why Duncan made the move to Fiorentina in Italy, which was down to his desire to play more first-team football.
This post then gathered many replies from Liverpool fans who did not like Duncan’s comments.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans criticising Duncan:
Like thats ever happening. Glad this joke was moved on. Doesn’t deserve to play for liverpool anyway

He’s still not playing first team football

Seriously. From reports he wasnt ready for first team. So he should have worked hard on his game. Instead he whined like a child and ran crying to Florentine who.will never achieve anything like Liverpool . His loss and won’t be missed

The 18-year-old moved to Fiorentina in September this year for a fee of £1.62 million. But the Englishman has yet to make an appearance for their first-team having instead made six appearances for the Fiorentina U19’s squad in the Primavera 1 league (per Transfermarkt).
Duncan’s comments about moving away from Merseyside to get first-team football resulted in some Liverpool fans commenting on lack of first-team minutes at his new club.
He probably knew he would never be good enough for liverpools first team so took the easy way out rather than put in the hard work

Somebody tell Bobby we have moved on.

He can’t even make it on to the subs bench which they are allowed to take 12 to each game

What do we think?
Duncan’s comments have certainly backfired on him given his lack of appearances for the Fiorentina first-team. Hence some Liverpool fans taking the opportunity to criticise the forward and blame his supposed lack of hard work and determination to stay and fight for a place in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
