This comes after Liverpool journalist James Pearce shared a post on his official Twitter page sharing his own opinions on the injury to the Brazilian.
This then led to many Liverpool fans replying with their own feelings on Fabinho’s absence.

Obviously a massive blow as he’s a top player and possibly our player of the season but to look for positives, it might mean we actually get a CM in the team now that will help the attack out a bit. Big chance for Ox or Keita to stake a claim for a place.

Fabinho will be a big loss to Jurgen Klopp’s side in the eight weeks he will spend on the sidelines. The midfielder has been one of Liverpool’s standout performers so far this season. Having made 12 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside club, he has earned himself an average match rating of 7.03 according to WhoScored, as well as averaging 2.5 tackles per game and a pass success percentage of 86.7.
The Liverpool fans will be hoping Fabinho makes a speedy recovery and retains his place back in midfield as soon as possible.
