Melwood has given so many iconic images. Let’s hope the future at Kirby follows a similar pattern. Looking good!

Situated in Kirkby, the official Liverpool website claims the brand new training ground facilities will provide “a clean, modern and warm environment with lots of natural daylight and simple but crisp detailing to celebrate the club’s winning history”.
It certainly seems as if fans have taken to it.
Melwood will be missed but this is the best choice for the club

What do we think?
Despite the love some Liverpool fans have for Melwood, the club’s current training ground and the history behind it, it’s good to see the club evolve and build a fresher up to date training facility, not just with the first-team in mind but the youth teams as well. This goes to show how the club are willing to invest in its current winners whilst putting their faith in the future Liverpool prospects too.
