Some Celtic fans are of the opinion that the club’s French striker Odsonne Edouard could become one of the best in Europe in the next few years.
The French striker featured for the French Under-21s side in their clash against the Switzerland Under-21s outfit recently in the qualifying rounds for the UEFA Euro Under-21s.
He got the only goal of the game for Les Blues, but the Swiss side went onto pick up a 3-1 win at home and Edouard’s goal only proved to be a consolation.
Some Celtic fans are hailing Edouard already, with some claiming that he can go onto be one of the best in Europe soon.

What a signing , even at 9m what a bargain.
Will smash the 25m record if he leaves.— Damien Harrington (@Damien180H) November 19, 2019
Edouard had joined Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2018 permanently for a fee of £9million. His signature was the club’s highest valued acquisition in history.
Since arriving from the reigning French Champions, Edouard has made as many as 105 appearances for the Celtic first-team. During this time, he has scored 45 times and has racked up a tally of 24 assists too.
This season, the striker has played 24 times in all competitions for the club. He has scored 12 times and has also bagged a tally of just as many assists under Neil Lennon. He was also a regular for the side last season when he had managed to find the back of the net a total of 22 times for the Bhoys.
Some Celtic fans want Edouard to come up with a similar panenka penalty in a game against Rangers soon.

Scenes when he dinks one over McGregor to go 3-0 up against the huns at Hampden.

For the France Under-21s, Edouard has been very impressive. He has made six appearances in all competitions, finding the back of the net 11 times so far.
What do we think?
Edouard has done very well to replace the absence of Moussa Dembele, who had left for Lyon before Edouard had joined from PSG. And for a fee of how much he has arrived for, he has proved that he is already a big bargain for the Hoops.
Indeed, at the age of 21, he is only bound to improve. The only way forward is up for this talented centre-forward.
