Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to share their excitement for the potential transfer of Leeds United loan man Ben White.
This comes after Liverpool news account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post claiming it has been reported by Phil Hay of The Athletic that the club’s interest in White is genuine.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans happy to see the club linked with the defender.

The 22-year-old Brighton player is currently on a season-long loan deal at Championship side Leeds where he has made 16 league appearances for the club, only conceding eight goals so far (per Transfermarkt). With his current record this season, this has got some Liverpool fans excited by the clubs reported interest in the centre-back.

White certainly is having a good season at Leeds so far, so it comes as no surprise that a club like Liverpool are interested in the player. An impressive stat that will excite the Liverpool fans is White’s impressive passing average. In the Championship this season, White has averaged a 85.5 pass success percentage (per WhoScored), as well as averaging 2.9 interceptions and 3.6 clearances per game.
If Liverpool do manage to sign the defender, he will surely be a big figure for the club in the future.
