Some Celtic fans are not happy with their club’s treatment of winger Scott Sinclair, who has been frozen out by Neil Lennon this season.
Sinclair, now 30, last appearance in the Scottish Premiership came back in September when he played just six minutes in the Hoops’ 1-1 draw away to Hibernian. Despite not having played much, he has scored twice already.
With reports now linking him with a move to Derby County, Celtic fans are alarmed by the player’s situation. Reports have also said that he is keen on leaving and has already informed his friends and relatives about it.
Some Celtic fans are now bashing the club for their bad treatment of Sinclair and feel that he deserves to play more.
Does Scott Sinclair deserve first-team football this season?
He does!
Let him go
| Scott Sinclair has reportedly informed those close to him of his desire to leave #CelticFC in January, according to a report:

Yeah he’s been a good servant to us ,unfortunately the reality is we could have 2 players who the manager wants for the money he’s on but we wish him well

Sad to see him go but not surprised. He was brilliant for us especially in his first season.

Sinclair has played only six times in all competitions for the Hoops this season, finding the back of the net twice. The goals he has scored have come in the Champions League qualifying and in the League Cup. In the Premiership, the Englishman has played only 17 minutes of football so far.
This is in contrast to last season when Sinclair was a regular on the left-wing. He played 55 times in all competitions, scoring 17 times and racking up a tally of six assists as well.
In the 2017-18 campaign, Sinclair had even better numbers. He played 55 times, but scored 18 times and had an impressive tally of 17 assists.
What do we think?
Sinclair’s treatment is indeed unfair. He was very good in the last two seasons and he deserved better treatment than what he is currently getting. But considering how summer signing Mohamed Elyounoussi has done, it is fair to say that Sinclair isn’t meant to be a regular.
With his current deal running out at the end of the season, Sinclair has to move on as soon as possible.
