Some Celtic fans on Twitter are adamant on including striker Leigh Griffiths in the club’s Team of the current Decade.
A debate had broken out of Twitter which saw many Hoops fans discuss as to who should be on the club’s Team of the Decade. Indeed, just about everyone had a different take on who should be included in the side.
But many of them were together in a bid to have Griffiths in the side. The Scotsman, who has contributed to 111 goals for the Hoops in the Scottish Premiership, is close to returning to full fitness for the side.
Many of the club’s fans made their opinions known.

Hard to argue with most of it. I voted for Griffiths. He has scored 100 goals this decade. Wanyama possibly should have sneaked in. Good work Adam.

In total, Griffiths has made a total of 211 appearances in all competitions for the Parkhead side. During this time, he has found the back of the net as many as 107 times and also has an impressive tally of 46 assists to his name.
This season, Griffiths has not played for the Hoops since the club’s 3-1 win over Hearts back in August. Since then, he has been out of the side because of injury. Before that, Griffiths had played eight times in total in all competitions, scoring three times as well.
The Scotland international did not play about half of the previous campaign. He had taken a temporary leave from playing football in December 2018 because of what he revealed to be some mental health issues.
Some fans also felt that defender Kristoffer Ajer should not be in the side.
What is this Ajer carry on?

What do we think?
Griffiths, who is valued at just £1.8m by TransferMarkt, has become one of Scottish football’s icons over the last few years and has become renowned for his goalscoring abilities. While he has scored only four times for the Scottish national team, his famous brace against England in 2017 was, arguably, one of the best games involving the two countries in recent times.
In the Scottish Premiership for Celtic and Hibernian combined, Griffiths has a tally of 107 goals and 44 assists in 197 assists.
