Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight with winger Trezeguet’s performance against Liverpool where he scored his first goal for the club.
This heap of praise comes after the Egyptian shared a tweet from his official Twitter account in which he shared his disappointment in the result but says the team need to “keep improving”.
This tweet then led to a lot of Villa fans sharing their happiness with the winger’s performance and congratulations on his first goal.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans praising Trezeguet on his performance:

Trezeguet’s goal at the weekend to put Villa ahead against the league leaders was the 25-year-old’s first goal for the club in any competition (per WhoScored). The Egyptian joined the Birmingham club in the recent summer transfer window for £9 million from Turkish side Kasimpasa (per Transfermarkt).
The 2-1 defeat to Liverpool was Trezeguet’s 10th appearance for Villa in the Premier League but despite it taking him that long to score his first goal for the club, the Villa fans were happy for his overall performance in the defeat.

You were a nuisance. Brilliant. Real work rate and that’s what will make you succeed in the Premier League. You’re going to be a hit!

What do we think?
In 10 Premier League appearances, Trezeguet has played six times on the left-wing and six times on the right, which goes to show just how versatile and useful the Egyptian has been for Villa so far this season (per Transfermarkt). Now he has opened his account for the club he can now use this performance as a base-line for his future appearances in a Villa kit.
