These West Ham United fans have tried to predict what affect Jose Mourinho’s appointment will have on the clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
When speaking about his appointment, Mourinho said: “I am excited to be joining a Club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters.” These comments from the new Tottenham manager has left some West Ham fans wondering how he will affect the game on Saturday.
A new manager coming into a side can sometimes create a ‘bounce‘ for a side as things look to turn around quickly and the Portuguese boss has notably managed to do that in the past. The 56-year-old won his first Premier League match in charge of Manchester United 3-1 in an away win against Bournemouth.
I wish they hadn’t done that because a new manager in his first game usually gets the players up for a game. I would rather have played them under Poch either way I expect us to perform a lot better than we have been https://t.co/8iYoQpt4zV

They could have a traffic cone sitting on the bench instead of Pochettino and we would still lose! because we have a useless keeper and also we are struggling create and to score goals.

Mo’s had rest and he will enter the TH dressing room with an aura and players will want to play for him. They will be up for this game. His 1st game for MUN played us and won 3-0. If we are up for it and defend with heart they will unravel. Can MP motivate them for this. Big test

Not a chance, are lot of have totally lost it, early goal and they will just roll over!!

That’s exactly why Levy has sacked Poch prior to playing us. He didn’t want to lose.

It’s hard to predict exactly what affect Mourinho will have, but Hammer fans need to remember that this was always going to be a tough game to get points from, considering their current form under Manuel Pellegrini.
I don’t see us being any difference then we have been I put money on it if the players can’t get up for it in any game then was the Worth them even being at the club . The manger needs to get this 100% spot on with the team or we will get done 3 or 4-0

Can’t see it happening. I really hope we go out there and play with heart and soul, us fans will let them know if they aren’t putting the effort it, that’s for sure!!!

I fear the worst. Spuds will now be right up for it to impress the new manager, and we’ll be frightened to death to make a mistake…. of which we’ll make many! And as for Roberto….

What Do We Think?
As stated above, this was always going to be a tough game and it’s now likely to be even tougher. Mourinho will be wanting his side to impress the fans and press, so there cannot be any doubt he’ll be able to fire Tottenham up for this London clash. If Pellegrini can’t keep his players in check, a cricket score could emerge from the clash in east London.
