Leeds United’s Ben White is currently on loan from Brighton, but the 22-year-old has been impressing fans all season along with major Premier League sides such as Manchester United and Liverpool.
Phil Hay has said that White ‘feared he wouldn’t cope‘ with Marcelo Bielsa’s tough training regimes, which has only made these Leeds United fans love him even more. The 22-year-old has started every game for Bielsa this season, which is likely to be why the centre-back is playing with such confidence.
Ben White found the first week of training under Marcelo Bielsa so intense that he told those closest to him that he feared he wouldn’t cope. Instead, he’s been the outstanding centre-back in the Championship so far:https://t.co/a0Q7sW6Dtp

Just shows how a great manager like Bielsa can bring the best out in players

It’s good to see praise for both Bielsa and White, as clearly the Argentine manager deserves a lot of praise for getting the most out of the young man.
1st game at Bristol City I was panicking that we didn’t have a proven cb alongside Cooper and I thought Ben might get bullied and roughed up in the championship. Well my mind was changed after 10 mins he was outstanding and has backed it up every week wat a great young talent

What Do We Think?
White has been a very important player for Leeds this season, for a centre-back, he’s made an impressive amount of passes each game attempting on average 59.5 per match. Every fan will be hoping that the club can make this deal permanent, which could be very tough depending on the price tag Brighton set for the 22-year-old, should they even decide to entertain any offers that come in.
