Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has warned people “cannot forget about” Leicester City in this season’s title race. The Foxes currently occupy second place and are currently the closest to the Merseyside giants although they currently hold a comfortable lead of eight points.

Most will have tipped Liverpool to be involved in a two-way tussle with the Champions Manchester City but Brendan Rodgers’ side seem to have other ideas.

The East Midlands outfit are currently on a run of five successive victories and currently boast the best defensive record in the division having kept six clean sheets and only conceded eight goals in total.

The Foxes supporters may not feel they are capable of holding off Manchester City who are hot on their heels for the entirety of the campaign but there is no reason why they will not feel they can achieve a top-four finish. They have a great manager in place, a squad of talented players who look united and cohesive in everything they do and are currently in far better shape than the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United for example.
