Everton supporters have argued that Rafa Benitez should be the man the club’s hierarchy should chase if Marco Silva is relieved of his duties.
The 2-0 defeat to Norwich City at Goodison Park on Saturday has seen a definite change in the tides within the blue half of Merseyside, with many calling for Silva to be cast adrift by the Toffees (as per Liverpool Echo).
Indeed, the poor result ahead of a mammoth task over the next six games (per Sky Sports), has left supporters desperate for a new gaffer at the helm.
With a number of options touted, many pleaded the case for former Liverpool boss, Rafa Benitez, to replace their Portuguese 42-year-old.
I think Benitez is the realistic option, poch and arteta wouldn’t join us

Benitez or Marcelino.
Benitez probably more realistic given his familial circumstances.
Marcelino might take some persuasion but maybe not too much given he’d probably be given a lot more backing compared to what he got at Valencia

The choice by some Everton supporters comes as a surprising one when the Spaniard spent six years with the Toffees’ noisy neighbours (as per Transfermarkt).
However, the current Dalian Yifang manager’s record speaks for itself, with 12 pieces of silverware under his belt throughout his career (per Transfermarkt).
i said when we missed out on rodgers we cant miss out on rafa as well

Bielsa or Benitez

Honestly, Moyes or Benitez are like the only realistic moves the board would make. I actually think Benitez has three brain cells so wouldn’t come anywhere near this plague of an organisation. So Moyes is inevitable and so is the championship.

Realistically? Best manager we can get probably Benitez.

What do we think?
A move back to England for the Spanish 59-year-old may one day be a possibility, as Benitez has already stated that he will return to the Premier League eventually (as per BBC).
However, the former Newcastle United boss is only five months into a two-and-a-half-year contract in China (per The Guardian) and it may be difficult to pry him away from his new venture.
