The Arsenal fans have not held back with their criticism of Head Coach Unai Emery in recent weeks and thats led to many looking ahead at potential successors. Former Gunner Paul Merson thinks the club should break the bank and go get former Liverpool and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.
It appears these supporters agree with the former Gunner on this particular viewpoint.
People were mocking each other when we were linked to him ! He has unleashed vardy and others like the title winning Leicester team, imagine what impact he would’ve had with auba, Laca, Pepe in the front and ozil behind. He deserved to win that EPL title then more than Liverpool.

What do we think?
Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool tenure ended in a disappointing fashion but there’s no doubt the 46-year-old did some great work at Anfield. Following his sacking, Rodgers took over the reins at Celtic and rebuilt his career before controversially leaving the club to return to the Premier League with Leicester City.
Since arriving, Rodgers has led the Foxes to 21 victories and just five defeats, making them in many peoples eyes, contenders to finish in the top four and qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the second time in their history.
Stylistically, the Leicester City boss is what the Gunners are crying out for. Somebody who can bring back the swashbuckling football the club were associated with during Arsene Wenger’s time, but whether Rodgers could improve them enough defensively remains a concern.
