When Hugo Lloris first suffered his injury away at Brighton, it initially looked like it would be a bad one.
Then when the update came through from Tottenhamhotspur.com, everyone’s worst fears were confirmed and the Frenchman won’t be found in goal before the end of 2019.
However, from Spurs’ latest tweet, sharing a video of the gloveman returning to Hotspur Way, Tottenham’s training ground, it appears that the Frenchman is in good spirits as he made his way back to the club and was greeted with his teammates, a scene that a lot of Spurs fans loved seeing…
Hugo still in high spirits as he continues his rehab at Hotspur Way.

The show of togetherness from the squad at Tottenham will have been a clear message to the fans. The club’s recent form, shipping ten goals in their last two games, winning just three of their 11 games this season, is far from ideal, and with talks of Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino in ‘crisis’ (BBC), seeing the players together is obviously a positive image for the fans.

However, as much as the team spirit on show was enough to please the fans above, some sharper-eyed Lilywhites fans were quick to notice that Giovani Lo Celso, the club’s Argentine loanee signed over the summer (BBC) was in training with the rest of the squad, and as much as they love Lloris, having Lo Celso in the side is an exciting prospect given the fan’s responses below.
Lads don’t fall for this. They indirectly telling us that GLC is fine and trained with the lads.
P.s Wishing Hugo a speedy recovery
