Alfredo Morelos has had an unbelievable start to the season. Scoring 15 and assisting five goals in his first 21 matches, the Colombian has been a crucial aspect of Rangers’ 55th title bid (transfermarkt.co.uk).
With this run of form, however, comes the speculative transfer rumours. Premier League team’s Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have been linked with bids for the player, however, there appear to have been no official bids made yet (The Sun).
Rumours like these can sometimes distant players from fans, or cause them to lose focus of their current team’s objectives, but not Morelos. The 23-year-old has continued to bang in goals and has even left a message on Twitter for fans of the club.
His tweet reading ‘MON THE GERS’ seemed to brighten the day of these Rangers supporters. One fan even called it the greatest tweet ever written, while another reminded fans that Morelos has tweeted the exact same thing before.
The greatest tweet ever written.

Even the great club themselves got in on the action, stating that they share the same sentiment as the player. Don’t we all?

What do we think?
If Rangers want to win that illustrious 55th league title they will want to do everything in their power to stop the player from leaving in January.
Indeed, Morelos’ has been crucial for the Gers since joining them for a reported £1m transfer fee back in 2017, as he has managed to find the back of the net an incredible 63 times in his 112 appearances for the Light Blues.
More of the same from him this season and Steven Gerrard’s side could be well within a shout for the Scottish Premiership title.
