Conor Gallagher is on loan at Charlton from fellow London club Chelsea. Despite some fans concerns over whether Frank Lampard would recall the 19-year-old, Lee Bowyer is confident that he will be in the red of Charlton until at least the end of the season.
An attacking-midfielder by trade, Gallagher has earned plenty of admirers since he arrived at The Valley on loan.
Usually hate loan players But players like @JoshCullen and Gallagher are a different breed. The passion they show is second to none #cafc

Gallagher’s performances have not gone unnoticed by the Chelsea supporters.
I spy Conor Gallagher … already one of the best players I’ve ever seen in a Charlton shirt

I am a Season Ticket holder at Charlton, and i don’t think i have ever seen a young player, who has never played a first team game before, play as well as this young man, he has an incredible engine, i must also say that Josh Cullen has been equally impressive for Charlton.

What do we think?
Gallagher has established himself as a key player in Bowyer’s side. Five goals in 13 league starts is an impressive return for an attacking-midfielder and with every passing week the ‘Gallagher hype train’ continues to gather pace.
Particularly at Championship level, the loan market is an extremely powerful tool and if you’re able to utilise it you can vastly improve your squad. Of course, there’s a strong chance the player will return to his parent club come the end of the season but the arrangement, at least for the time being, benefits both parties.
Charlton have an exciting, dynamic and effective attacking midfield player for the season and as a result, stand a greater chance of achieving their season’s objectives.
