Former Celtic legend Shunsuke Nakamura netted one of the goals of the weekend for his club and fans have taken to Twitter to call for the player to return to Celtic Park.
The 41-year-old veteran currently plays for Yokohama FC in the J2 League, where he is still scoring some of his trademark wonder goals that Celtic fans enjoyed during his time at Parkhead. This left-footed strike in his team’s 2-1 victory over Tokyo Verdy was another vintage one to remember.

Nakamura played for Celtic between 2005 to 2009 and was mightily successful during his time at the club, scoring 28 goals in 142 appearances. He was the first Japanese player to score in the Champions League, netting a special free-kick against Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2006. He was also nominated for the Ballon d’Or in 2007.
What do we think?
When talking about Celtic’s best ever starting eleven, Nakamura’s name regularly emerges as one of the best to grace the right full-back position. Whilst a return is surely out of the question due to his age, Celtic fans can still be pleased that their former icon is still tearing it up in his 40s.
