Great game. One mistake, which you will learn from, should not be the memory of the night. You controlled the game and showed your brilliance. Well done.

The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes against Wolves, just four days after playing another 90 minutes in Villa’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City at the weekend (per WhoScored).
Indeed, Many Villa fans thought Luiz had a fantastic game against Wolves yesterday, as can be seen below.

What do we think?
Luiz’s transfer from Manchester City to Villa came as a disappointment to City boss Pep Guardiola who wanted to keep hold of the young midfielder. But an issue with Luiz’s work permit couldn’t allow Luiz to join the City first team back in 2018 (The Guardian). But City’s loss has turned out to be Villa’s gain, as the Birmingham club signed Luiz for £15 million in the recent summer transfer window (Transfermarkt).
The midfielder has since made 10 appearances for Villa in all competitions so far this season, scoring two goals along the way, including a fantastic goal in the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth in August (BBC Sport). Luiz is well on his way to becoming Villa’s number one choice in the defensive midfield position.
