West Ham United fans have expressed how eager they are for keeper Lukasz Fabianski to return after many fans responded to a tweet sent out on Tuesday.
Fabianski suffered a torn hip muscle and has a potential return date of January 2020 – according to an article by football.london.
The Polish keeper has played seven league games this season totalling to 574 minutes for the Irons.
Some fans expressed how much they prefer the Polish international to his current replacement, Roberto Jimenez. The Spaniard probably didn’t help his case when making a costly mistake last time out.

Hopefully he’ll be back ASAP. Any update on when?

Look how low he is too the ground anticipating all the time! Something Roberto doesn’t do unfortunately, he stands far too upright hence taking an age to get down to either side!.yes he’s great when it’s fired straight at him but anything either side of him and low is not good

really really hope he’s still the same after his injury!

The Polish keeper has played six times in total for his country this season, four times in the European Championships and twice in the UEFA Nations League A – as per WhoScored.
He can get to the ones on the floor.. Roberto?????

He really is the main reason we have been so poor . He catches everything and Roberto punches . A real class act.

What Do We Think?
When comparing the two ‘keepers by the number of saves per league game they’ve made this season, Roberto just edges Fabianski, with the 33-year-old Spanish keeper making on average 3.5 saves per game, whereas the currently injured Polish keeper makes 2.9, as per WhoScored.
Stats for goalkeepers can sometimes be misleading, as many if not all of the fans above seem to be more confident when Fabianski is between the sticks.
