It is fair to say Chris Wilder is doing a stellar job with Sheffield United.
The Blades sit in eighth are unbeaten away from home and look every inch the Premier League side.
Wilder’s team plays fast and attractive football, but they are also very well set up defensively and have managed to keep four clean-sheets this season.
After the match on Saturday, Wilder went over to applaud the travelling Blades fans (via the club’s Twitter acccount) and got a rousing reception, which was reciprocated by the Stocksbridge-born man.
There are not many managers in the Premier League who are adored as much as the 52-year-old and these Blades fans wanted to pay tribute to him.

What do we think?
Wilder deserves all the praise in the world.
He has defied all expectations for the past couple of seasons and has returned his beloved team to the top-flight.
However, the Blades are not just surviving; they are thriving. Indeed, pundits such as Adrian Durham, who said that Sheffield United would be rock bottom, are currently looking rather foolish.
