Some fans were quite confused following the sell-out of match tickets for the visit of Norwich City to Goodison Park.

Following an announcement made by the club’s official fan services account, which informed Toffees fans that their match against the Canaries next month was sold out, fans reacted with amazement.

While some were frustrated not to have been able to secure a seat in the, almost, 40,000-seater stadium; the majority were puzzled with how it was possible.

With the Toffees currently only two places above the relegation zone at this moment in time, fans are becoming increasingly frustrated with the Merseyside club and manager, with Marco Silva even stating earlier this month that the fans have every right to be angry (per Daily Mail).

The selling out of any club’s home section of their ground is always a testament to loyal fanbases.

Despite Everton’s current poor league form and frustration, it goes to show the stature of the Goodison Park club that match tickets are still being sold out.

But, of course, last night’s win may have improved the mood slightly.
