If you get a chance, take it with everything you got!

So far this term, the 18-year-old has sparkled for the Toffees’ Under-23s, scoring six and assisting two across seven appearances (as per Transfermarkt), including a goal against Mansfield Town in the Leasing.com Trophy.
Gordon has, in fact, also made his first-team debut – with the starlet featuring as a late substitute for Kevin Mirallas in Everton’s 3-0 Europa League victory away to Cypriot club, Apollon Limassol, in 2017 (BBC).
The chance for a fan of any club to boom: ‘one of our own’ from the terraces creates a sense of pride for all – and some Toffees supporters have tipped Gordon to be next in line.
Let’s get him at least on the bench, earned the chance for some game time surely.

What do we think?
Making it as an academy graduate in the Premier League is incredibly tough, with TheSportsman.com touting that only 66 graduates featured for the 20 top division clubs across the whole of the 2018/19 season (via TalkSport).
However, with Gordon having already made his first-team debut two years ago, training with the first team and enjoying a fantastic season with the Under-23s – it seems it may just be a matter of time for the 18-year-old.
