It’s safe to say the Joselu hasn’t really worked out with Newcastle United, and it seems that he has now been linked with a move to La Liga with Alavaes, according to AS. The Spanish outlet claim that the Magpies attacker is close to completing a move. The forward certainly hasn’t set the Premier League alight since his arrival at St. James’ Park in 2017, in fact this season, the Spaniard only managed to score three goals in 20 appearances across all competitions. There seems to be a common theme among the Toon faithful as they all took to Twitter to suggest that the attacker just isn’t good enough for Newcastle, or the Premier League for that matter, and it seems that the vast majority of the Magpies fans are happy to see the back of him, in the nicest way possible of course. One fan even went as far as saying: “Does he need a lift to the airport?” in a cheeky comment suggesting that his exit can’t come quick enough.
