Wolves will approach Chelsea with an enquiry about striker Tammy Abraham in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claims that Everton could also ask about the 21-year-old goal machine, who has been firing on all cylinders while on loan at Aston Villa in the Championship this season.

Abraham has scored 25 goals in 37 league appearances for Villa this term but will return to Stamford Bridge soon once his loan deal with the West Midlands club expires.

Good move for Wolves?

Raul Jimenez has been fantastic for Wolves this season but other than him, Nuno Espirito Santo does not boast a lot of strength in depth when it comes to his centre-forward options.

Abraham would not only be a solid back-up option, but he would also challenge Jimenez for that starting spot if Wolves signed him.

It might cost a lot of money to sign Abraham in the summer.

He is a young England international who has been scoring a lot of goals and according to statistics website Spotrac, he earns £50,000-a-week on his contract with Chelsea.

However he should be worth every penny for Wolves.

Likely to happen?

Chelsea might not be able to sign any players in the summer so they could keep hold of Abraham so that they have an extra option in their attack.

He is yet to be fully proven in the Premier League but he has been scoring goals for fun in the Championship and Chelsea could take that chance.

Wolves will have to bid big for the striker if they want him.
