Timothy Weah sent Celtic a message on Instagram after the 2-1 win against Hearts on Saturday to congratulate the club on completing the treble treble.

The 19-year-old Paris St Germain winger spent part of his 2018/19 campaign on loan at the Hoops and clearly he still holds a candle for the club.

Weah not only acknowledged Neil Lennon’s side in his six-word Instagram message but also said well done to the supporters for their part in helping their side.

“Congrats to the club and supporters,” wrote the teenager on his Instagram story.

OPINION

Celtic completed a historic treble treble on Saturday by adding the Scottish Cup to their trophy cabinet at Heart’s expense, but it wasn’t all plain sailing for them. The Hoops fell a goal behind against Hearts and had to rescue the game in order to lift the trophy. However while Celtic nearly fell at the final hurdle that shouldn’t take anything away from their latest accomplishment. The only question now is whether Neil Lennon can repeat this season’s success in the 2019/20 campaign as that will be no easy feat. The Hoops boss has a massive task trying to keep the trophies rolling in at the club as not only have Rangers notably improved in recent times, but Celtic’s squad looks like it is need of some improvements via the transfer market. Lennon has to ensure the right players arrive at the club, but depending on the Hoops’ budget that may be easier said than done.
