Marcelo Bielsa should ring the changes to his starting line-up ahead of Leeds United’s clash against Ipswich at Portman Road on Sunday.

Leeds just need to avoid defeat in order to seal a third-placed finish in the Championship standings and with the play-offs on the horizon, it would make a lot of sense for Bielsa to rest some of his key players and offer a chance for the youngsters to shine.

Mateusz Bogusz and Ryan Edmondson should both make their first ever senior starts for the Whites while Jamie Shackleton and Jack Clarke should also return to the starting line-up against Ipswich.

The four exciting teenagers are all good enough to play for the Whites in this one match and it would be great experience for them to get out there and earn some invaluable first team experience before the season ends, as they are all unlikely to play much – if at all – in the play-offs.

Kiko Casilla should start in goals behind a back-four of Luke Ayling, Pontus Jansson, Liam Cooper and Gaetano Berardi.

Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich are two of the key players who should be rested ahead of the play-offs so Shackleton and never-before-seen Bogusz should start in the centre of the midfield alongside Adam Forshaw.

Bogusz has impressed in the Under-23s side since joining in January and was on the bench against Aston Villa last week, but he is yet to make his first appearance in the senior squad.

Clarke and Jack Harrison should both be named to start on the wings while Bielsa must hand Edmondson his first senior start for Leeds due to Patrick Bamford being injured and doubts about the fitness of Kemar Roofe and Tyler Roberts.

Leeds would have a huge chance of smashing Ipswich and ending their season on a high if Bielsa names this team.

It combines youth with experience while keeping things solid at the back and livening things up a bit in the attack.
