OPINION
West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to bemoan the latest report suggesting that the club are interested in making Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder their next permanent manager this summer, according to Sky Sports. Most West Brom supporters are very doubtful that the club would be able to convince Wilder to leave Sheffield United, having just guided the Blades to promotion to the Premier League. It is easy to see why supporters of West Brom do not think they would be able to get Wilder, given the club are potentially going to have cut costs after missing out on an immediate return to the top flight. That makes it unlikely that West Brom would be able to convince Wilder to depart Sheffield United and drop back down to the English second tier. Wilder would be an excellent appointment for the Baggies were it to happen, but the chances, despite the reports, do appear to be slim.

@josephclift This seems….insane? We're a shambles behind the scenes and have no money so not sure where this has come from….Is he just using it as leverage?
