Aston Villa duo Tammy Abraham and Axel Tuanzebe could both be doubts to face Millwall on Monday, according to the Express and Star.

The newspaper reports on their website that the key duo could potentially miss the clash after Abraham injured himself whilst scoring one of the goals that secured Villa a 2-0 win over Bolton on Friday.

Tuanzebe, meanwhile, was forced off the pitch just before the end of the game, while Kortney Hause and Jonathan Kodjia remained sidelined with their respective injuries.

OPINION

It would be a big blow to Dean Smith if these two players are ruled out of the clash with Millwall on Monday. Abraham has been pivotal this season with the 24 goals he has scored already, while Tuanzebe has been a rock in the centre of the defence after making 24 appearances this season. He had already suffered a setback with injury this term, and it would be a shame if he is ruled out at this stage of the campaign. He has been important to how Villa have managed to turn their fortunes around, and many of the fans will no doubt be left gutted if he is not playing. Abraham, however, would be the biggest concern. His goal tally speaks for itself at the moment, and without his goals, Villa would be rather weakened in attack. Yes, they do have Jack Grealish to rely upon for goals as well, but Smith needs Abraham with Villa looking likely to make the play-offs. This potential double injury blow is just not what they need.
