OPINION
Kieran Trippier has not had the best of seasons for Tottenham, which is probably why some fans are in awe of the fact that Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the right-back in the summer. According to the Daily Mail, the La Liga giants have enquired about Trippier and are ready to table a £15million bid for him. Even though there are Tottenham supporters who would be happy to see the back of the 28-year-old, they should try to get as much cash as possible for the ex-Burnley star. Trippier has not had an amazing season but he was superb last term and was arguably England’s best player in the 2018 World Cup. It will not be long before he returns to form, so Spurs fans should not be too quick to urge the club to cash in on the first team star. If a good offer comes in then Daniel Levy should think about selling him because there are better options out there, but Tottenham cannot be blamed for not wanting to offload the full-back either.

This is amazing. A bidding war! ? honestly he should take the largest offer. What a move it would be for him to join Simeone!!
