OPINION
Jack Aitchison has been playing his football in the Scottish Championship since the January transfer window this season, but has been involved tonight as Celtic U20s matched up against Rangers U20s in the Glasgow Cup. The Bhoys managed to win the tie 3-2, much to the delight of their loyal fan base. There were a number of stand out performances in a green and white shirt over the 90 minutes, however it was Aitchison who impressed after scoring the opening goal of the game after 19 minutes, followed by a celebration in which the 19-year-old appears to ‘ear-cup’ towards the Rangers fans. This performance alone will give the Celtic fans something to look forward to in the coming years, as their youth sides continue to be successful, much like the senior side. The likes of Aitchison and his teammates will be hoping to be well in consideration for a call-up to the first team in the next few seasons with Celtic. Though one fan below already thinks he is better than Leigh Griffiths.
