Celtic drew 0-0 with Hibernian on Sunday at Easter Road and it was a disappointing day at the office for Neil Lennon’s side.

The Hoops were in terrible form across the board in the first 45 minutes against Hibs though several players did improve in the second-half in order to actually trouble their opponent’s goal.

However one of the players that was bad from start to finish for the Hoops was Olivier Ntcham.

The 23-year-old midfielder submitted a lacklustre display that made him look like he was mentally already on the beach unfazed about whether the Hoops racked up another win.

Ntcham didn’t go the extra mile to chase down loose balls nor did he seem determined to make up for losing possession any time one of his passes handed Hibs possession.

Given that the midfielder regularly gave the ball away, you think at least on one occasion he would of forced himself to do whatever he could to get possession back.

Yet that moment never came.

When you consider that Ntcham has previously shown how good he is while wearing a Celtic jersey, the sort of display he submitted against Hibs was an insult to his own quality.

The 23-year-old has the skill set to carve sides open, score important goals and add Man of the Match awards to his list of personal accolades, but he didn’t look anywhere near capable of submitting a half-decent performance on Sunday.

Hopefully Neil Lennon is able to get through to Ntcham and spark an improvement in his upcoming displays, as someone needs to tell him the season isn’t over.
