Mauricio Pochettino has delivered yet more bad injury news to fans, confirming that Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko will be out of action for the next two weeks through injury, and fans are absolutely gutted.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that the key first-team star “is not going to be fit for the next two weeks” and that means he’ll miss the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Ajax. It comes after Harry Kane has been sidelined, possibly for the rest of the season, with Harry Winks also missing for six of the last seven games.
Pochettino said there was a chance that Sissoko could recover quicker but that he wasn’t optimistic.
With Son suspended for the first leg of the Ajax game, Tottenham fans are fearing the worst, with striker Harry Kane also on the sidelines. One fan called it an “injury curse” and said that Tottenham would be in an even better position if it wasn’t for the big misses through injury.
One fan asked “who in god’s name is going to play with our three top players out?” and that’s proof of the massive transformation that Sissoko has undergone this season. Last season Tottenham fans wouldn’t have cared if he was missing. This season, though, he’s been one of Spurs’ most consistent performers.
Here are the best reactions to the injury news:
Sounds like Winks is also a doubt. So we are without Kane, Son, Sissoko, probably Winks…………..at least for the 1st leg. What the hell is this.?

Jesus. This is what happens when you don’t invest in squad depth. Who in god’s name is going to play with our top 3 players out?

Now that worries me, I hope he can be fit for the first leg cos we need his energy against the youngsters of Ajax.
