COMMENTARY
Tottenham fans might well have been frustrated with Christian Eriksen when they have come up against big name sides but Tuesday evening saw him slaughtered by the north London faithful against relegation threatened Brighton – despite finding the back of the net. The Lilywhites were all over the Seagulls but struggled to find a way past their steadfast defenders and the 27-year-old Dane came under heavy fire for his lack of cutting edge. As the man who is meant to connect the midfield and the attack with his passing ability and vision, he disappointed greatly as the likes of Fernando Llorente were left without much service up top. With much speculation over his future, his contract at Tottenham heading into its final year this summer, you can understand why fans might think his head is elsewhere. However, based on Tuesday’s performance, there should not be too many top quality teams who are looking to snap him up. If he cannot do a job for 88 minutes against Brighton, what hope does he have against Europe’s elite? Then again, it was his moment of magic which made the difference.

Eriksen who we rely on so much in a game of park bus is absolutely diabolical. But I’d probably take off moura and put on Jansen so we’ve 2 cf both physical to occupy both cb giving alli son room.
