OPINION
A report broke on Tuesday that Napoli have had a £17million offer rejected for Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier. It is understood that Mauricio Pochettino has priced the English right back at £30million and will not go any lower. Sky Sports reporter for Italy, Gianluca Di Marzio broke the news and Tottenham fans were not impressed to say the least. One Spurs fan claimed he would “accept a packet of crisps” for the England International with another saying they would “give them £20million to take him!”. The 28-year-old has kept Serge Aurier out of the team for the majority of the season but has only been involved in four goals with three of those being assists. Spurs fans seem more than happy to see the defender leave in the summer and a few even targeted some of Napoli’s prized possessions to replace him.
