To say that PSG have a lot of money would be a bit of an understatement.

The French champions are mind-bogglingly, filthy rich to the point that it is hard to comprehend the resources at their disposal.

They could literally buy any player in the world, with the exception of one or two perhaps, without breaking a sweat, and they have exercised that financial might on more than one occasion in the recent past by spending big on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The thing is though, without a bit of regulation, that kind of wealth can be ruinous for a domestic game. Hell, even with regulation the Parisian club are 16 points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

But nonetheless, Financial Fair Play is in place, and when you get to the levels of exorbitant wealth that PSG boast, it is a real issue that has to be considered.

That is why, according to AS, the club could be forced into an exodus of talent this summer to balance the books.

A trio of players are named in the report; Thomas Meunier, Stanley Nsoki, and Christopher Nkunku.

And that could be fantastic news for Newcastle United.

The Magpies were linked with a swoop for Nkunku in January, as reported in the Chronicle, but nothing ever came of it.

Now, however, with his exit looking more like a necessity than a choice, the Toon Army could really profit from PSG needing to sell.

The Frenchman is a really promising, versatile midfielder, and with Rafa Benitez potentially set to lose Isaac Hayden and Mo Diame in the near future, reinforcements would come in handy.

If they act fast, Newcastle could pick up a bargain.
