Steven Gerrard is predicted to make just one change to his starting line-up ahead of Rangers’ Scottish Premiership clash against Hibernian on Friday night.

Ryan Jack could miss out on the trip to Easter Road with a foot injury, meaning that Ross McCrorie stands a chance of earning his first since the goalless draw with St Johnstone on February 16.

Steven Davis is also available for Gerrard to replace 27-year-old Jack, however McCrorie has been in better form and the young enforcer seems to be above the Southampton loanee in the midfield pecking order at the moment.

Allan McGregor is expected to start in goals behind an unchanged back-four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Joe Worrall and Borna Barisic.

McCrorie could sit at the base of the midfield with Glen Kamara and Scott Arfield ahead of him.

Daniel Candeias and Ryan Kent have been mainstays on the wings this season and that is unlikely to change against Hibernian while Alfredo Morelos is more than likely going to get the nod to start up front.

Rangers are eight points behind Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic going into this game on Friday night and Gerrard will surely be looking to avoid losing anymore ground on the club’s Old Firm rivals in the race for the title.

Hibs are unbeaten in the league since Paul Heckingbottom has taken charge though, and could be a tough team to play against on their own turf.
