Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings told Villans supporters to enjoy the international break after their side defeated Middlesbrough 3-0 on Saturday.
The centre-back on loan from Bournemouth highlighted that Dean Smith’s side had racked up another clean sheet and shared that he was looking forward to run when the Villans return to action.
Mings then replied to Jack Grealish’s tweet to cheekily claimed he was about to cry after his teammate claimed his display against Boro was brilliant.

OPINION
It seems Mings is eager for Aston Villa fans to enjoy their time without a game to watch as he knows the matches after the international break will be intense. Smith’s side have been in excellent form in recent weeks in order to give themselves a chance of getting into the play-offs, and know they can’t afford to drop the ball in the coming weeks. The Villans’ looked like their play-off hopes were dead but an amazing turnaround in form, should rightly have everyone dreaming. Also it seems the spirit among Smith’s squad is also strong given between the banter between Mings and Grealish. Grealish made a very captain-like tweet to praise the performances of Glenn Whelan, Mings and John McGinn, but that the defender was going to be cheeky with his reply. The defender likely appreciated the praise and will no doubt be eager to keep his good run of form going when he returns to action.
