OPINION
It was great to see Jack Clarke returning to action for Leeds United on Saturday, even though it was in a 1-0 defeat to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United at Elland Road. The 18-year-old had not played since early February when he collapsed on the bench at Middlesbrough, and thankfully he has made a full recovery from illness to be able to play in Marcelo Bielsa’s first team. It was not a memorable return for Clarke though. He did not play that well when he came off the bench, which led to a bit of criticism from some Leeds fans on Twitter. However in the most part, fans were just glad to see the teenager back. Clarke will take a bit of time to rediscover the form he showed before his spell on the sidelines and the international break has not come at the best time for him, or Leeds. The Whites need to bounce back as soon as possible after their promotion blow on Saturday, but they will have to wait a couple of weeks before making amends.

Yes I am fuming we lost but no I wouldn't pick on any single player for it. We play as a team, win as a team and lose as a team. Roofe to come back soon and good to see Clarke on the pitch. Not our day. #LUFC #ALAW #MOT

All I will say is need a goal we have Dallas Douglas and Clarke. No fire power #lufc

I would really like to see more use of the shack in this Leeds team. Always makes a positive impact. Douglas offers very little as a sub for me. Good to see jack clarke back in what else was a game decided by a mistake. We will come again. #MOT

Going to be a frustrating two weeks now, but there’s still matches to be played and we’re not out of the race yet. Anyway, it was good to see Clarke back today. Keep the faith! #MOT #ALAW #LUFC

Harrison should bury his chance, different game if he does. You have to question the subs, Dallas and Douglas aren't playing well and Clarke was ineffective. Roberts, Pablo, Cooper, Bamford, Alioski werent at the races either. The pressure has been lifted now though #lufc
