OPINION
Kemar Roofe has posted the latest update in his comeback from the knee injury that’s kept him out of the last four games – and Leeds fans are delighted to see him training, although some weren’t so keen on a mudslide he took on.
In the Instagram post, he’s interviewed saying he’s never felt as good when injured before and says he feels stronger every day.
There’s a clip of him running at Thorp Arch and what one fan calls a “heart-in-mouth” moment when he slides down a short hill before carrying on jogging again.
A few fans pointed this out with one saying he “didn’t like that skid at the end”.
Another said it looked like he’d be back for the Millwall game at the end of March. This would be ahead of schedule, with his return set for April, but you never know.
He can’t come back soon enough for Leeds. Patrick Bamford is doing well enough in his absence, but an injury scare in the last game, when he hobbled off early in the second-half, proved how vulnerable Leeds are up front at the moment.
