OPINION
Ezgjan Alioski has started all 31 of Leeds United’s Championship games this season, and it would be fair to say that his form has fluctuated massively between the downright terrible and completely unplayable. Some Leeds fans have brutasiled the Macedonia international for his display in the 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough on Saturday, but surely he deserved some praise for what was on the whole quite a solid performance by him. Alioski’s form has definitely improved since he slotted into the left-back role. Barry Douglas has been a bit underwhelming at times this season compared to his form at Wolves, but Alioski has shown that he can perform well there when needed. As much as some Whites fans might want the ex-Lugano ace axed, it’s not going to happen and neither should it happen. He’s doing a solid job and Marcelo Bielsa will see that. Hopefully he stays at left-back against Swansea on Wednesday night.
