Many West Bromwich Albion fans will surely be salivating after hearing Liam Rosenior’s glowing remarks about the transfer business they were able to get done in January.

The Sky Sports pundit was asked which club he thought had done the best business in January over all and opted to highlight who the Baggies had signed.

Rosenior claimed that due to welcoming Stefan Johansen, Jefferson Montero and Jacob Murphy all to the club on transfer deadline day, as confirmed by the Baggies’ official website, they were now set to score a lot of goals and be hard to catch.

“From a club point of view I’d have to go for a Championship club in West Brom, having a strike force of Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle to then go ahead and sign Johansen, Montero and Jacob Murphy to add to that attacking qualities with Matty Phillips still there, they look like they’ve done the business that will get them over the line as it means now they can score four even if their opponent scores three type of thing,” said Rosenior on Sky Sports’ The Debate (Friday February 1st, 23:07).

“They’re going to score a lot of goals and it’ll be hard to catch them up.”

The prospect of their side being able to score four goals in games and just generally be dangerous as well as exciting upfront to watch will no doubt have lots of Baggies fans salivating.

However they will no doubt also be thrilled by the fact that Rosenior seems very confident that they had done the business needed for them to achieve their goals this season.

Darren Moore’s side are clearly aiming to secure promotion back to the Premier League and it’s good to hear that a Sky Sports pundit believes the club have given the manager the tools needed to make that happen.

WBA currently sit fourth in the table, pending Saturday’s results, and know that a good run in the second half of the season could see them get back to England’s top-flight.

Yet based on Rosenior’s remarks it seems like they will be aiming to do it in style and that should have lots of Baggies fans thrilled.
