OPINION
Tottenham fans have suffered a love/hate relationship with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this season, but he was definitely scrubbed off their Christmas card list on Wednesday night.
A brilliant shot-stopper, Lloris is also prone to some awful errors and he was at it again in the first-half against Watford at Wembley.
After conceding way too many goals from set pieces recently, Davinson Sanchez and Lloris conspired to do it again, allowing Watford’s Craig Cathcart to head into an empty net.
Many fans have been calling for Paulo Gazzaniga to take over from Lloris in goal after a string of fine performances in the cup, and they’re going to come back even louder after tonight.
In the first-half Spurs looked a shadow of the team that was looking to challenge for the Premier League this season.
However, Pochettino changed it up in the second-half and somehow his side managed to sneak all three points again with two goals in seven minutes towards the end.
Son Heung-min, back from the Asian Cup, seemingly salvaged a draw for his side, before Fernando Llorente finally got his first league goal of the season – and what an important one it was.
Here are the best reactions from long-suffering Tottenham fans:

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris deciding to leave his position on the line and getting stuck in absolute no-man's land for that goal.
The main concern over Lloris this season again highlighted in that goal with his poor lack of decision-making and judgment.#THFC #COYS
