Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie has praised Rangers frontman Alfredo Morelos for his goal against Livingston on Sunday.
The Colombian international took his strike in fine fashion as Steven Gerrard’s side eased to a 3-0 victory at the Almondvale Stadium, and Gers fan McBurnie was clearly impressed with his fellow centre forward.
“Some finish from the buffalo,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account, referencing the affectionate nickname the Rangers fans have given Morelos.
Some finish from the buffalo??

OPINION
McBurnie is right, it was an excellent finish from Morelos. He got around the goalkeeper but appeared to have driven himself too far wide. However, he proved everyone wrong with a stunning finish from an acute angle. His goal secured all three points for Gerrard’s team, and took his tally for the season to 21 goals in all competitions – not a bad record by any means. With people like McBurnie drawing even more attention to the Colombian, the big worry is whether Rangers will be able to keep hold of him moving forward. There has been interest in the player before and there doubtless will be again. If he continues playing like he has done this season then it will merely be a matter of when not if he leaves Ibrox. That’s sad but it’s true for Rangers fans. All they can do now is enjoy wonderful finishes like the one on Sunday for as long as they can.
