COMMENTARY
Australia achieved a dramatic 3-2 win over Syria to continued their participation in this year’s Asian Cup on Tuesday and Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic played a very important part in that being the case. As several fans on Twitter explain below the 26-year-old attacking midfielder was in fine form throughout the match before blowing everyone away by scoring an absolute screamer at the death to give his nation the win. Lots of Twitter users drooled over Rogic’s ability as a result with one even claiming that the player was not human, especially when it comes to his left foot, in order to show how impressed they were by the playmaker’s goal. While there were a range of different supporters raving about Rogic, it’s telling that a few Celtic supporters chimed in with one rightly revealing how they can’t wait for him to be back with Brendan Rodgers’ side. While supporters no doubt wish for Rogic to do well with Australia in the Asian Cup, they do want him back at the Hoops as soon as possible due to his talent.

You’re right, all those injuries have taken the pressure off a little. Seems as though Mabil and Ikonomidis are growing into the winger positions, and with Rogic on song, can’t help but feel there’s still a chance
