COMMENTARY
Tottenham fans despaired after the club officially provided an update on the injury sustained by Dele Alli against Fulham on Tuesday and it seem their worry was getting the better of them. Spurs’ official Twitter account tweeted that the English midfielder had suffered a hamstring strain and was not expected to return to training until early March. The news of another player been unavailable for a notable amount of time, saw Spurs fans just wanting to give up and others already waving goodbye to Mauricio Pochettino as they predicted his exit. This was because several believed the senior figure will walk if he is given no help by new faces arriving in the transfer window as his squad was looking ridiculously thin with Alli unavailable. One in hilariously went as far to predict Pochettino’s replacement by citing Eddie Howe will be in charge. While the reaction is a little on the dramatic to side, given how Spurs have the roughest luck with injury, it’s no real surprise.

Poch should just leave tbh. He doesn’t deserve this. We all do, he doesn’t.

Seriously a joke, and especially as we won’t be bringing any in. Criminal. But don’t worry Liverpool had to have a kid on the bench against wolves ? pic.twitter.com/oBOnxUlmCv
