OPINION
It might be a stretch of the imagination to claim that Marcelo Bielsa could turn him into Cristiano Ronaldo, but Hadi Sacko could be the kind of player that the Leeds United boss could make use of in the second half of the season. Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay claimed via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday that Sacko’s loan deal at Las Palmas will be terminated soon with clubs in Cyprus and Hungary interested in signing him up. The jet-heeled 24-year-old has really struggled at the Spanish second-tier side, appearing just five times in all competitions since joining them on a season-long loan in the summer. Bielsa has worked magic at Elland Road though and to suggest that Sacko’s career at the club is over might be a bit premature. Leeds have been linked with signing a new winger this month, so if Victor Orta fails to sign a new addition, maybe the Mali international could be afforded another chance. Bielsa has transformed players like Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich. If Sacko shows that he is determined to come good for Leeds, it might be a decent idea.
Sounds likely that Hadi Sacko's loan at Las Palmas will be terminated shortly. Hasn't played much there and Las Palmas want to send him back with a view to him going on loan elsewhere for the second half of the season. Clubs in Hungary and Cyprus interested. #lufc
