COMMENTARY
Many Everton fans were thrilled about Cenk Tosun scoring against Millwall and several raved about his finish for the goal in particular. The Toffees may have disappointingly lost 3-2 to Millwall on Saturday but the 27-year-old forward did enough to get their praise. In fact there wasn’t more Tosun could do as he didn’t start the game was only brought on during the second half. Marco Silva really needs to start giving the Toffees forward more of chance based on his latest display, a thought shared by some Toffees fans below, as clearly he is a capable finisher when given the right services. Tosun expertly pounced on his only real chance to score and if he wasn’t for him being so clinical then the Premier League side would have suffered an even worse result. The forward’s celebration showed how much the club means to him and how much he wants to excel at Goodison Park, and when you consider Silva’s other options he should be given that opportunity. As some said below it’s not like Silva’s other forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is head and shoulders above the Turkish international.
