OPINION
You have to feel for Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard managed to bag a vital brace in Chelsea’s 2-0 FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon but was still maligned for a a horrendous miss, and was subbed almost nonsensically for Cesar Azpilicueta with his side home and dry. That substitution led to the forward storming down the tunnel without acknowledging his bench, and many Chelsea fans have taken it as a sign of his time at the club approaching it’s end. At this stage, it would probably be best if Morata was moved on in truth. The ex-Real Madrid man has endured a torrid time in England, and just doesn’t look suited to the English game. If a continental escape route could be found, and a decent replacement sourced then he would surely be on his way, and few Blues’ fans would complain. His confidence is at an all time low, and it’s hard to see how this situation is going to get any better.

Morata doesn't look like a man who's just scored two goals.

No smile, no eye contact, no cheer, no expression… Plain frustration.
God I'm actually worried for Morata

There's no point in keeping Morata..His mind & confidence are gone, he doesnt celebrate after he scores & when he's subsituted he goes straight to the tunnel
He was used to having no pressure at Real & Juve as a back-up striker, reality kicked in very hard on him here???????— Leo (@LeartKTBFFH) January 5, 2019
